You work in a hospital, running two operating theatres on the night shift. It's a busy night. In quick succession you have five candidates for surgery - all with different problems. Not all of them can be operated on tonight, and so you have a rationing dilemma.
Who should be treated first, and why? How does ethics provide a framework for helping you decide which operation should be performed first? This is the point where science meets reality, in the most specific way possible, and lives could depend on the outcome. The audience decides
