Bedford scholarships
Sports scholarships of £500 -£2000 a year will be available for rowers at the Bedford and Milton Keynes colleges of De Montfort University from September. Students must gain entry onto their chosen course through the normal application processes and, once accepted, may apply for a sports scholarship. The university will consult the ARA in their decisions to award scholarships. Athletes should have represented Great Britain or England at under 18 level or had a place in final trials for these squads. Alternatively they could be on course to reach national standard at under 23 level. There should be clear evidence that the athlete has ambitions to progress their rowing up to senior international levels.
