- The Leo Blockley Memorial Campaign have started a sinking/swamping incident database on the campaign website. You are invited to send in details of incidents you know about which would be of interest. It would be wise to check facts first, and note that the "Details" field is the one for the full report, while the "Outcome" field is for the summary of what happened overall. It sounds as if it will be a more useful resource as people get used to adding reports, and when more information is known about currently sketchy records.

- Message from YUBC (UK): "An eight belonging to York University was taken without permission on Saturday night from its trailer at Peterborough regatta by some naked rowers not from York University. The boat has been severely damaged and requires much repair. If anybody saw anything or knows of anyone who may have been involved in this please contact the club President Keith Settle via kfs105@york.ac.uk and let him know. Thanks."

- Susan Brown of X-Press BC, Cambridge (UK) would like to hear from anyone who knows how her boat was damaged at Peterborough Regatta. She left it "tucked away down the side of the boathouse and returned to race it on Sunday to find a split across the bow ssection." It had great sentimental value and may not be replaceable unless her (or someone else's) insurers play ball. Any information to Susan at susan.g.brown@ntlworld.com please. Thanks.
