- FISA has just announced the passing of its Honorary Secretary General, Charles Riolo.

- Frank Porter, who competed, wrote an excellent piece entitled Shall I bond with my boat today? just before the weekend.
- The Supersprint Rowing Game scoreboard is now fixed, with older scores now archived so that they don't clog the system. For those interested in the SuRo events themselves, there has been a hiatus while a couple of planned international events had to be cancelled, but regional SuRo sprints are now being reconsidered. Anyone who is interested in holding a Supersprint Rowing format event can contact the organisers on enquiries@su-ro.com - while the format is fixed, it is easy to set up locally and you'll get help and advice from Sir Steve himself, amongst others.

- Sweat Technologies (Australia) have released version 1.0 of their iCoach for Rowing programme.

- From FISA, Iztok takes Cop Challenger.
- Worcester College Oxford BC (UK) are setting up an old members' society called the Martletts. Anyone interested please contact Kathy Ward (TRC) or Alice Page (Sons) or email greatbigtiger@another.com.
- Apparently the film Nine has won the Jimmy Stewart Memorial Crystal Heart Award at the Heartland Film Festival.

- Hamish Burrell's full resignation statement is also on the IARU webpage as an RTF file (downloadable, read with Word or similar wp packages).
- The Swedish University Boat Race, inspired by the Oxford-Cambridge annual jaunt, was won by Uppsala University over Lund University. There is a report in Uppsala Nya Tidning.
- The new film ALL FOR ONE: In the Spirit of the Race video (NTSC only) is available from the website.
